POP!NK Editions is proud to announce Eric Pause’s first print edition, Summer Skin 3. Pause is a Canadian painter whose work fragments and reassembles figurative imagery through complex geometric compositions.

"I’m thrilled to be working with POP!NK for my first print edition. As artists themselves, they do an impressive job of engineering superior screen prints. The result is a collaboration that has the look/feel of an original piece while allowing the edition itself to have its own artistic merit. Their reputation for quality is unmatched.

This piece, Summer Skin 3, is meant to convey multiple moments spliced into a single image, with the intent to conjure memories in the viewer rather than dictating a specific narrative. With a few subtle changes, we’ve produced a unique screen print that I feel is an excellent representation of my fractured, cubist style." -Eric Pause

“Our goal working on this first collaboration was to capture the subtle geometric distinctions and color shifts that exist so elegantly in Eric’s paintings. The variations in value/hue of his work create complex color relationships which not only help create a visual dialogue but also a striking composition. Through the use of screen printing we were able to translate these variables and remain true to Eric’s vision. With meticulous attention we were able to insure intricate registration and minimize the inherent quality of trapping (where colors next to each other need to overlap in the printing process). The result is a beautiful, highly technical screen print incorporating all of the elements of Eric’s paintings.” - POP!NK Editions
